Ethics and Accountability

Sam knows that the best way to restore confidence in our government is to achieve greater ethics standards and laws for elected officials. He voted to usher in new House leadership by electing a new Speaker of the House for the first time in 40 years. He also ended the revolving-door lobbying policy for legislators and put an end to politicians’ Springfield fundraisers during session.
