Fiscal Responsibility

Illinois is operating within a balanced budget for the first time in decades, and under Sam’s watch, the state’s bond rating has been increased twice. Sam knows that the crooked self-dealing behavior of politicians must end. He is a dedicated full-time public servant legislator, and he is fighting for a new law forcing politicians who are convicted of crimes to repay every penny they’ve received from taxpayers. Sam also firmly believes doing away with duplicative taxing bodies and consolidation of governmental bodies to save taxpayers money.
